Here Are Some Common Scamming Methods in Diablo 3 to Watch Out For
1. Unid Items Method – As hopefully everyone already knows, there is a glitch in D3 that allows you to see what stats an Unid item has before you identify it. So, do not buy unid items currently!
2. Fiery Brimstone Stacking scam - I’ve seen many people do it with Fiery Brimstone’s. They are able to use a script to reduce the stack number before the trade goes all the way through. Be Warned!
3. Deleting Zero’s from Gold Trading - It is hard to count the zero’s when its 20 million or so, so just take extra caution when trading in trade windows.
4. Cancel Trade Trick – Many people are trying to cancel the trade to trick you into dropping the item: Only works if you drag your item instead of right clicking.
Basically the end rule just comes down to take your time and double check everything, right click items into the trade window, don’t drag, don’t buy unid items, and try to just use the Auction House.
